Mount Fuji is a sacred symbol of Japan. It plays a vital role on the country’s preserved culture and tradition, especially that of Shinto - the indigenous faith of Japan.  It was inscribed as a UNESCO world heritage in 2013. The Chinese ideograms of Fuji connotes  a sense of good fortune and well being.
