Christine Fung

Singapore

Christine graduated from University of Toronto and is an actuary by profession. She became a full-time mother 17 years ago and has been busy in exploring the artistic side of her inner self. The artistic world works very differently than the actuarial world. The work of actuary requires a high level of analytical skills and is heavily regulated. Art, on the other hand, requires imagination and creativity. People described as left-brain thinkers are told that they have strong math and logic skills. Those who are described as right-brain thinkers are told that their talents are more on the creative side of things. While the left and right-brain theory remains a myth, Christine makes both sides work well together.
