Irene

Irene is a retired healthcare worker. She volunteers in a community centre to help support elderly with dementia. She also self learns embroidery. Three years ago, she bought a set of embroidery needles and started learning embroidery by watching YouTube videos and reading blogs of other embroiders. She has come a long way since then, and the embroideries she now creates are exquisitely stitched interpretations of the beautiful nature. Each piece takes dozens of hours to complete. Irene’s second career is surely full of joy.
